 The average return on investment (ROI) for home remodeling projects is between 69% and 70%: 

   Today's Homeowner: The average ROI is 69%, with garage door replacement having the highest ROI at 100%. 

   Reno Fi: The average ROI is 70%.    Zonda Media: The average ROI is 60%

.    The ROI for home remodeling projects varies depending on the project type:    Garage door replacement: The average cost is $4,513, and the average resale value is $8,751, for an ROI of 193.9%.

    Siding replacement: Fiber cement has an ROI of 88.5%, and vinyl has an ROI of 94.7%.

    Window replacement: Vinyl has an ROI of 68.5%, and wood has an ROI of 61.2%.  

  Deck addition: Wood has an ROI of 50.2%, and composite has an ROI of 39.8%.

    Bath remodel: Midrange has an ROI of 66.7%, universal design has an ROI of 46%, and upscale has an ROI of 36.7%.    

HVAC conversion: The average cost is $17,747, and the ROI is estimated at 103.5%.    To calculate the ROI for a renovation, you can subtract the original cost of the investment from the total return on the investment. Then, divide the net profit by the original cost to get the percentage ROI.
